Hi there,
Did you ever pursue this avenue? Niagara Region is thinking of going this way as well. We have set up a test and are hoping by the end of the month to move away from excel into hedgehog. I will be creating custom reports for the program assistants.
So far from our tests we have discovered that:
- The general reports included in Hedgehog are not adequate enough for our use.
- The required "Area" on the first tab for the participant is redundant
- Some of the drop down fields have horrible spelling mistakes in them(from our own inspectors) but we are unable to edit them after the fact which makes entering a city rather annoying
- If I pick a restaurant from the drop down list when creating a participant it does not pull the address information from the Facility Listings
