Inspection Module

The HES application has a very powerful inspection module that can be custom-configured by the client for each of their program areas. The canned comments section permits the client to add system-wide comments, including sections from the regulations, which can be selected by any inspector at the click of a mouse for inclusion in the inspection report. The client can configure the inspection module to display and capture their own criteria for inspections and can even opt to implement an observation inspection (also known as an infraction-based inspection), a compliance inspection, or a combination of both types. Most significantly, each facility category is configured independently of every other facility category using the Agency’s own criteria. Observations, also known as Infractions, can be weighted and can facilitate rankings of Low, Moderate and High Hazard. Inspection reports can even have photographs or digital images attached to them.

The Inspection Module can be configured to use the Custom Intake Form to facilitate data entry in the field using a pen-based tablet computer. The Custom Intake Form even captures signatures and saves them on file along with the Inspection Report.
